Gaz_1989 9,539
My pup is 10 months old next week. She loves the mooching and bushing. Had her out today with "crackers" over his permission and the dogs were bushing in some cover the other side of a fence... I saw a rabbit head to the corner and ran round with my pup close by, crackers Bull cross was onto the rabbit and it bolted through the fence in my direction about 25 yards away from the pup. It was a cracking run, she was up it's arse up the bank and turned it back down before striking it. She's caught a few ferreting and the odd myxi rabbit mooching but this was by far the best run on a healthy rabbit. Can't beat it. This is what it's all about for me... 9 Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
Cheers fellas. Good luck with your youngster JohnRussell84 Yeh TB25 she's got a cracking coat and skin like a Rhino. W. Katchum I know what you mean. Can't beat seeing a youngster switching on and picking things up. Really does make all the hard work worth while and it's definitely the best part of the game, for me anyway. Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
This wind is howling and I'm off work tonight so will be out with the youngster to see if she can bag a bunny or two on the lamp. Just in from a good mooch about, rubbed her down and given her a small meal of chicken and mash potato, she's got 8 hours now to relax ? Quote Link to post

Always bloody something isn't there. My first night off work in ages was last Friday. Completely out of the blue, without notice. Dogs had been fed and it was foggy. Typical. Then the moon has gone away and it's been blowing a gail all week and it's been chocka at work, couldn't get a night off. Anyway I'm off tonight and conditions are just right so fingers crossed. Hope your back heals up soon. I feel your pain, I ruptured 2 disks back in April 2014 and they still give me grief now. 1 Quote Link to post

Northern Rock 512
Getting to the time of year I miss my running dogs, maybe keep my eye out for an older pup... Saw a pet whippet x collie/grey that needed re homing at 12 months, purely from a pet home Quote Link to post
