Mighty Celt they are 3/4 spaniel 1/4 terrier.

 

I've been asking him about them.

 

Fancy a cocker myself around spring time for flushing rabbits to the lurchers and hare/fox to the gun.

been walking this particular bit land for nearly 20 years with the lurchers no permission just being your typical dog walker and hardly ever see anyone on here and since having bushers on the go iv had some cracking sport,plenty hedgerows small wooded areas and lot waste ground behind it as well great for a bolt onto the open ground to get a few runs,always holds good number of rabbits and bushers always putting up fox and muntys which is good to see as well.

 

so im up there yesterday and was approached by a bloke in a 4x4 no problems just letting me know he was doing a bit pest control on the bunnies for the new owners seems the tractors and ploughs are moving in soon going to turn the lot over for crop,shit happens but im gutted lol,time to find pastures new

 

I hear ye Rob, I've hunted a couple of acres of waste land for near 7 years most days of the week. It's funny , it gets to the point where on some level you consider the land "yours" to the point where you see a a bottle cap on the ground that shouldn't be there or a freshly broken branch that u know u didn't break and your asking yourself " I wonder who's been hunting my spot" then last month I noticed diggers moving in and building going on. Don't mean to sound like a drama queen but a part of u dies with the land you've become so familiar with when u see it being leveled.
