Anyone Know Much About Bullmastiffs?

Recommended Posts

I know a few middle aged women with horses that live local, and more than a couple have rescued bullx as knockabout farm dogs, pets, companions. Granted some will be wired to the moon as with all types bit some really healthy level headed bullx out there that could turn there hand to most tasks imo, and dog pounds and for sale sections are full of unwanted pups and adults for pittance that any dog man with half a brain could get doing most things

better options about dotty but if you want one as a pet crack on pal

Hmm I wouldn't say straight bull mastiff myself, she's got the markings, but her head looks boxer like?!? That said, I'm not all that clued up on these breeds. Nice bitch nonetheless

The group of lads I train with try to put our dogs under different types of mental stress and pressure whilst doing protection work ie smoke bombs,chainsaws/leaf blowers revved in their faces, working

We've got a couple of venues that we use but my favourite is a disused nightclub in East London where our main decoy sometimes does night security to stop people getting in and squatting as this ha

Get a bull x grey gnash, very few things they can't do well

pointless if you dont hunt

Whys that then cant a bull/grey be of benefit as a normal " pal " type dog wandering the hills and mountains ....or will they only flourish if regularly killing stuff ?

it was not a dig, theres better types of dogs for walking the hills or mountains but if you fancy a bull\grey for that good luck to you.

I know you wasnt having a dig i was just asking a question.

Its for a different time different country different climate so havent really thought it through yet just throwing the ball around at this stage ;)

If your gunna have a bull/grey and not use it why not just have a bulldog

that's what I was thinking, most have good temps with people, more so if brought up right, and gnash knows the breed, ive often thought of having another one, there great breed of dog in the right hands

That's it.As you know mate I kept both many years ago and the only advantage in bull/grey is that it will catch more stuff which is no advantage if your not going to hunt with it.But after all this is the hunting life and if someone came on and said they wanted a dog for their granny someone would come on and suggest a bull x.

Nobody's old granny was told to get a bullx, was they? Bird so far I've heard you bum up collie x when you had one, bullx before you got rid and now again it seems you have the best thing again, in. Shepard x. But it seems you forget there bad bits until you rehome them lol I told gnash to try a bull grey, him being active and dog savvy, I never told him to get a bull dog as he knows what a bulldog is, and in today's society who wants a bulldog or a bandog lol with a cross of bull and grey tho he does hav added advantage of catching stuff, if he wishes. After all this is a hunting site we all frequent lol

well , lets put it this way, you only can go on what dogs you get and see work , true or not .? Bryn always been good rabbit dog and that's all , my bullxs were good dogs for what they were bred for. now my gsd x grey doing every thing that I want him to do, and better than the bullxs, because he far more agile for 1, 2nd a lot better stamina , and 3rd justy as much fire in him as them . So yes I do think he great dog, not best out there,as there 1000's better than him, but if you want a dog who will run all night long, tackle what you put him on give 100%, then the gsd xgrey from what ive seen are that dog. and one other quality is his temp loves people and great with other dogs  . and ive always said I like pitx grey x saluki x grey very good lurcher, I an not kennel blind, like some people, but try to say it as it is.

Don't Bryn pick an choose runs? That was never mentioned before when you was think Bout studding him. The bullx you rehomed was best ever for few months, then fell out of favour, yet done well with new owner lol yeah you can only go on what we know, but having one two or even a few of type don't make you an expert. May not be kennel blind but you got bad habit if repeating only the good points, yet fail to mention bad ones till dogs gone lol

Good news for them but  not for max. They will spend and climb the table for sure

As a seeker of truths and in order to establish some veracity of facts ,  yesterday I carried out a what’s app football questionnaire.
In order to maintain impartiality , I’ve awaited until the final results are in.... and it makes for interesting reading .
The conditions were set for a level playing field .reams of questions were filtered through however I decided on three questions alone to maintain ease of answer via the polling method of what’s app.
      1. Who in your opinion are the top 6 English football clubs regardless of league or current table position?
      2. Who would you say are the biggest English league side outwith big 6 ?
      3. Who is the bigger club Newcastle or Sunderland?
Answer in your opinion , no right or wrong .
Each question was asked individually, as in only when they Had responded to the first was the second sent and so on
the demographic was chosen with the following constraints
      1. No fans of either Sunderland or Newcastle were chosen to be questioned.
      2. I selected 20 people in order to make it a fair pool of people and to make % mathematics easier.
      3. All 20 lads are guys i have played football with or discussed football with at length.
      4. No members of the hunting life .
      5. 10 born and raised south of Birmingham . Including 2 welsh lads. 10 born north of Birmingham . Including 2 Scottish lads.
      6. All agreed to have the conversations and their findings included in the survey .
So with no further delay , is anyone interested in reading the results ?
Any ideas on how I could have set conditions to a fairer test?

Went to look at a house last week in which me and the missus fell in love with, we offered the asking price straight away and exchanged phone numbers with the couple.

They made it clear that they had a couple more viewings of the house and wanted to honour them. Come Tuesday morning I rang the estate agents at the crack of birdshit to get an update, they told me they were waiting on hearing off the other people first.

Come 11 I got a call and they told me someone had put in a bigger offer and they had accepted it. After falling in love with the house I wasn't happy about that so I put in a counter offer that was higher.

The estate agent got back to me saying that the couple was still sticking with that other offer and turned down our bigger offer. I asked what the fcuk for and the slag at the estate agents said had no answer and says they might have got a better vibe, wtf!

What pisses me off about the situation is the way they were when we viewed the house, I went with my newborn and missus and she loved it. The way they were, talking about this house being perfect for my new daughter to grow up in has really pissed me off.

I honestly feel like putting the fcuking Windows through and killing their cat hahahaha. I expect a phone call off the estate agent because the message I sent to the speccy eyed prick house owner is not pleasant to say the least. I hope the deal falls through and they end up living in a cardboard box the fcuking rats!!! ???
