Thanks for the replies. They get dry also but like to make sure they have flesh in their diet too. Cutting off small amounts they eat straight away works, they don't go stashing it thankfully

Don't know about the tics.but regarding the rabbits with tape worm,I was always under the impression that 2/3weeks in the freezer kills any other eggs/parasites.ive always done this then fed the rabbits to the ferrets with no problems.

Know exactly what I'd tell the fckrs. Fck off you nosy cnts and keep the lawnmower noise down and the window cleaners ladders need silencers since they are upsetting my ferrets. Anyhow, is there a law against smelly things, Try the dustbins lads. Get real son and tell them to fck right off.

Freezing will not kill Ticks, it also doesn't kill bacteria.

 

It will kill tapeworm cysts but there is some disagreement as to how long you need to freeze for to be effective.

 

Actually I would have thought it was more of a temperature rather than a time thing.

 

All Sushi served im The UK must be frozen to kill tapeworms by law. I would imagine there is some guidance as to what temperature and how long it should be frozen for. That should be a good guide.

 

Or... Feed dry food.
