Crossbreed Lurcher !!!!!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Took the dogs for a walk today and a woman in my old mans street said she had a lurcher pup and she thinks it is a crossbreed ! i tried not to laugh and told her all lurcher's as cross bred , she then asked what could it be ? i said i wouldn't know with out looking at it , she then said it's got fluffy ears lol ( i was thinking maybe some saluki in it )... ... her husband/boyfriend brought out the said pup asking me if i thought it had staffie in it , they had 2 staffie's in the garden the same colouring and marking as the pup . there are some mad people about ... and they're a right pair ...

they obviously like dogs they had 3 i could see but not a clue what's going on .. gonna take a different route now on my walk ..

Why not get out for a walk with them, it could be the start of something

haha no chance of that at all .... they would get on my tit , asking stupid things all the time i'm sure .. she looked a bit queer looking as if she wasn't 100% all there ,and after talking to her i was right , he seemed quite normalish lol ...

Why they mad they won't know with out asking

i'll tell you why they are mad telling me they think their lurcher is crossbred !! definition of a lurcher a sighthound crossed with collie or terrier usually but any dog really..and also why ask me and not the people they got the pup off , asking me if i think it's got staffie in it and they had 2 staffies there the exact same colour and markings as the pup ( could be a co-incidence) it did look like it had staff in it .... mad to me anyway ..

it had staffie in it by the look of the head but hard to say what else was used , the guy was holding it and i just wanted to get away , i had 3 dogs on a lead and they were tangling me and them up wanting to go for our walk , we had just left they only live 100 yards away .. so I made my excuses and left . it was a nice looking pup though ..

I get asked all the time is my dog a greyhound when I say no its a lurcher they say oh i thought lurchers were taller and hairier, then the next question is is he a pure lurcher lol

yes to be fair a lot don't know what a lurcher is and so many are rough coated .. is he a pure lurcher lol ... but they had got the pup so why didn't they ask the breeders what it is , or what breed what used .i know he paid 90 quid for it so i don't think it was a resce dog unless you have to buy them ..

Someone asked me what you think this dog has in it. I always reply the same couldnt tell you as lets be honest if you can tell what breeds of dog are exactly in it just by looking you belong on the all might chair upstairs. Yes you can take an educated guess but it would be just that a guess.
