Should i buy An S410 or An Axsor?

Recommended Posts

Hi all im buying my first precharged hopefully before xmas and if found 2 second hand rifles (there mainly going to be used for shooting rabbits);

1. An air arms s410 which includes scope mounts and sound surpressor - £400

2. A logun Axsor (8 shot) which includes same package but with a charging pump aswell - £495

Does anyone have an opinion on the quality of the rifles as well as the prices of the packages?

which one would you go for basically?

im like a kid in a candy shop i love it !

any help would be great,

mike.

The S410 is the most popular of the two and shed loads of folk love these very popular rifles, I had one, but couldn't get on with it. They are more than up to the job and a good buy.

No experience with the LOGUN, only had the S16S and that was a really good rifle. As for the pump :icon_eek: , OK to start with if you don't mind a good work out :laugh: .

I'd go for the S410, even if you don't like it, those sell well, all day everyday, as for the LOGUN :hmm: , you may be stuck with that one :gunsmilie:

ahhh so you'd reccomend a gas bottle rather than a pump then?

its just the attraction of saving money with the logun i guess, maybee i shouldnt be so tight!

good advice, thanks!

AA S410 cracking gun lightweight, handles well in the field & is as accurate as you shoot it.My advice is try before you buy if possible because everyones different if it feels right for YOU then do it,there is some mint secondhand guns out there for not so much $$.Stirrup pumps are ok if you only shoot weekends like meself but if you shoot daily i would get a bottle Good luck MM...... :gunsmilie:

As said before get a bottle if you shoot a lot of pellets through your gun but if it's only weekend shooting then a pump will be fine, I use mine most weekends for rabbits/pigeons for the pot and only shoot around 10 shots (and 5 of them are checking zero in the farm yard!) so only need to charge the gun every couple of weeks. 10-15 pumps to get the pump up to pressure with the rifle (easy) then 4-5 pumps to fill the rifle back to 190bar from about 140bar (hard)

What pump do you use, I've not used a pump for about 10 years, they were useless and exhausting then, so I had to buy a bottle....do I take it things have improved a bit

Cheers
