Beating In Gloucestershire

I was talking to a customer yesterday and he mentioned that he is looking for somewhere to go beating with his 11 year old boy.

 

If anyone knows of any shoots near Stroud or Gloucester that are looking for beaters please let me know. Obviously Saturday would be best as the lad is in school, but could do mid week during Christmas holidays.

They have a springer, but she's only 6 months. Will be ready for next season.

Just google mapped it , 46 min drive but that's going into glos . Maybe traffic probs there .

 

Is that too far for him to travel ?

I asked ,and was told no places for paid beaters at the moment.

 

But if they want to come and beat for the experience, get birds to take home
