First Time With Longnet

went ferreting today first time ive ever used longnets and how quick and easy is it, we dropped my two ferrets in one set and with the ferrets in and out and one side of the set impossible to use purse nets on it was great to use this set up, we got 7 in a matter of 20 mins, there is plenty more places where this will be better than using purse nets around here so roll on next weekend

Ye it was great breeze, ive onley just got this permission aswell, theres a few like that one but it was a bit late to do anything else so will go back later on in the week, cheers

Its good fun with the longnets iv had mine a few year now and always enjoy using them. Atb with them pal.

Well done mate longnets are a very important part of the ferreters kit

Your right max they are, ive been ferreting for years and never even thought about using longnets (dont know why) but i will be using them as often as i can from now on, cheers mate

Napper once you can drop the net at night you want try netting round that set in pitch black then walking the field in back netting them as they try to ge back in....cracking bit sport

Ive never done it but will try it at some point, i can imagine it being pretty hard to do when its dark
