Oooh bloody ell cushty :-) wouldn't know where to start! You or someone else could do a thread on how to make! Then I could give it a try :-)

Atb

I've just changed one of mine to the tab style you need to get out into the woods find a nice Y shaped fork ash saplings and ash are the best chance of finding a decent one to be honest sand it down and give it a Finnish or just leave It sanded and then attach leather tabs onto the end of forks then buy your elastic to fit onto the catty and you are away

I have an old Hunter Ergo II spare and enough TBG for a band set - cost will be postage...(approx £1).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjtOQgKMnkA

It's designed to be used with the right hand..

I had it ear marked to give to someone else on here, but have not heard any more..

that looks ideal and a very generous offer kal but its worth more than that ! if its still available give me a pm

dunno !!!! just i always seasoned net stakes but thinking about it if it was oiled i suppose it would limit any cracking ! and the gypsy bands DO LOOK traditional and i do traditional ! ok next question if i used TUBES what should i start with for 10mm lead ? and any suggestions on size of pouch ?
