Guest pete evans
i believe the ase utra is the best 17 silencer. i have a sak on mine and it works very well. pete Quote Link to post
Guest baldie
No Pete, the ase utra is the best for a .22 lr, shooting subs, it doesnt work as well on the .17, as this cartridge requires just a bit more volume in the silencer, the sak is about the best at the money, you will only better it with a pes at £215, and believe me, there aint that much difference, 99%of people will be suited with the sak mate [ i,ve seen and tried most of them]. Guest pete evans
lamper 84 baldie knows a lot more about this than i do. ive a sak on both my.22 and .17 and find it a good silencer, the only other choice at the same price was a parker hale but as it is longer than the sak i didnt consider it. pete Quote Link to post
Guest baldie
Go with the sak , mate, the parker hale is very old technology now, and one of the loudest on the market, 25 years ago, they were good, well past it now. Quote Link to post
