Omanyra 2,518
Here's a "Canadian Staghound" of DHxGH origin from southern BC. A couple of pics from when he was young, then from present day. He's now 11yrs old, and been my best dog by far, after 25 years of sighthounds. Really sharp, lots of brain and tons of character and a pure athlete. Back in the day, he'd go out at night and just drop the rabbits on the back porch. Now he just likes to chill at the beach, loves the water. Absolutely perfect creature if there ever was one. As Dan mentioned, these guys are rarely first cross, and maybe some collie from back in the day as a littler mate had one blue eye. In the last pic, he's watching a bald eagle shred his breakfast. The pics look a little big, hope that's ok, first post. Lovely dogs BTW guys. Here's a "Canadian Staghound" of DHxGH origin from southern BC.
