Gaz_1989 9,539
Is the problem that your mates young dog is winging when he takes the other out of is the real problem you don't want wait for your mate have two slips and your only having 1 ??? Because seems to me if you really are as good mates as you make out in sure is dogs having two runs isn't going to kill you .. Or you run yours he runs one his you run yours he runs the other one.. That way you both take it in turns running dogs ... A fella by me hasn't got a dog on at the moment and wants to come out lamping with me tonight just to get out the house. I've said he can run my brindle bitch and I will give my pup a few slips. Suits us both down to the ground. That's what it's all about. 4 Quote Link to post
Guest Navek
Aye that's thee one. I personally don't mind having more than one dog out on a lamping trip and also don't mind taking someone along . It's nice to be able to sit and have a brew and a chat reminiscing of kampong trips that thee shared.. Edited October 30, 2015 by Navek Quote Link to post
Accip74 7,112
Just reduce the amount of time you go out with him, there are 7 nights of the week..........nothing worse than being tied to someone...... 1 Quote Link to post

General lee 979
Just take it in turns like you did before you run one then him then you and he can alternate his dogs that way you still run the same amount of game as before Quote Link to post

scottish lurcher 185
No matter how I put this its probably going to put me in a bad light but I don't really care lol My hunting partner has just bought a new pup, I was under the impression the plan was for him to take one dog out with mine one night and the other dog with mine the other night and continue in such way. But now he has it he's said he will be taking them both out at same time to avoid one of them crying while the others out. I'm not into going out with three dogs it's personal preference I prefer to run my dog on as many rabbits as I can and dont see the point in spending more time waiting for my slip than actually running my dog. So my question is how do others manage it without telling me to loosen up lol any tips to stop his pup whining when he takes other dog out and vice versa as he's a good mate and I don't want neither our friendship or sport to suffer? Helpful answers only please no ssip takers can't believe this shite made three pages of replies to be honest , does he need us to tell him how to lift a toilet seat . 1 Quote Link to post

Silversnake 1,099
There really are some bored and simple people on here, the lad just wanted some fresh ideas, why be attacked for that? Maybe that is how bored and simple people entertain themselves, I wouldn't know... If I was in your situation I would just lay down the rules, it is your permission after all. Atvb.
