devon flighter 421
had an eco fan for 2 years now wouldnt be without it , ours stove is in a small inglenook and it certainly pushes the heat out into the room,we use the burner with the room doors open to spread the heat around a bit and it increases the temp in the hall about 20' away by 2-3 degrees .down side is we had to replace the peltier unit as the fan started to slow down ,the upside is the units are £2.79 from china delivered
Welsh_red 4,840
My dad has one. Its class. Open plan in living room and it heats all of it. Also puts people off standing by the fire stealing the heat
Alimac2 321
Funnily enough mine just died today, it's been through the paces for just over a year now, was about £. Landlords given me permission to put some vents in the ceiling to let the heat upstairs, bring on the core drill :-)

Chicken_man 1,651
I have one! Heats water and 4 rads. Gotta have a good supply of timber + space to store for seasoning. A constant temp throughout the house. Atb
crowsnest 55
my alcove where the fire stands is about 1'' too shallow so eco fan wont fit but wood burner on its last legs , hopefully see out the winter, when i fit new wood burner i will make sure fan fits aswell even if i have to cut the legs down on the burner

unlacedgecko 1,467
We will be getting one when we put the burner in next year. Try as I might I just can't get my head around the science of them though.
Waz 4,279
I got one, was about a 100 euro with delivery, spins round like fcuk! and when the fire cools down it slows down, good to look at. But dont do much for moving the heat round, but then this is a drafty house anyway.... looks good though! lol
