stealthy1 3,964
A crackhead spelled it all out to me a couple of years ago,I can't remember it it all but it ended up that he was 'earning' about £200 a week. It's all about knowing how to play the system, not about your actual needs,my wifes uncle had a stroke a few years ago and has become a dangerous liability, setting things on fire trying to cook etc He get's next to nothing and his 87 year old father has to look after him. These are the ones that need looking after, but the scammers take all the money out of the pot.

I keep telling her they should just let him run wild, they'll soon find it's a lot cheaper to just give him money/carers than pay for the fire/water damage he'd cause left to his own devices.
Lab 10,979
Unfortunately it's there more for people who know how to work the system than people who truly need it. The cheats are all good actors with no moral fibre at all. I don't know how they get away with it, they have no medical history due to not having what they claim to have. Bad backs used to be the big cop out, but now they have introduced the not what you cant do, but what you can do, all those fuckers with bad backs over the years have moved on to some thing else. It's called depression now.
air gun ant 1,666
I was out of work for a little bit and signed on once, got £70 or something for 2 weeks and then when I got a job and signed off they sent me a bill for the same £70 odd quid! I couldn't believe it! When all these long term dole dossers get a job, will they send them a bill for what they've had?
dytkos 17,784
Earlier this year I had a spell of "job Seeking" I did promptly get my 72 quid a week after a very long computer questionnaire about me, my partner, other family, finances, savings, dependents, etc, etc, etc. I was OK with it, being at the low end of basic competence on a PC but how will all these poor refugees cope? Cheers, D.

Wxm 1,638
If you want to know how or why people stay on the dole then do the "better off in work calculation" it can be found on google search .... I did it with my current situation ... Me working, missus has a part time job and 5 kids and I'm better of in work by less than a £1 a week and it didn't take into consideration fuel so if anything I'm probs better off not working ... Chap in work goes on about it all the time "your better off not working" - "you'd get more money plus you could work on the side" I give him the same answer everytime ... (Me and my partner have 6 kids between us, I have 1 with an ex she has 2 with an ex and we have 3 together) I say to him that I have 6 kids and i hope that if they see me and their mum working then I'd like to think they'd be more inclind to work ! It's not 100% how it will work out but We could possibly get them a job where we worked at the time.

Scammers do take money out of the pot, but scammers at the other end don't put their fair share in, scum at both ends of it, and the sheeple in the middle paying for it all one way or another.

walshie 2,804
That's the point isn't it? They obviously can't get out themselves, so someone is doing their shopping for them and buying all the cakes and stuff to ram in their enormous pieholes. If the carers just said "Here's your salad" every day, what's he going to do?
stealthy1 3,964
I can't see why the pay the obese to become super obese? Then crush the NHS with type 2 diabetes, and then ban skinny models and shop manikins.

treecreeper 1,136
Your correct tb they designed to piss you off. But I agree with walshie someone's feeding these fat feckers who can't get out of bed should be done, if they can't get out of bed they never going to make it to the fridge. unless you have some medical issue being a mega fat b*****d is not a disability and I don't see why working folk should have to pay for it.
