neil cooney 10,416
Watched the first half of it. To be honest it was rough. Young lions being reared in shitholes and another young lion walking around barely able to use it's back legs. It showed a large male coming in to a bait and the client pumped six bullets quickly into him. What was good was that some of those investigating were authentic hunters. I've no problem with big game hunting whatsoever but it seems wrong that you can ring a company to book a hunt and they show you on-line photos of 14 lions and ask you which one would you like to kill Sir. That's not hunting and it was good to see real hunters distance themselves from that crap. Anyone remember that fat lying b*****d Roger Cook ? Remember the documentary he did on badger digging and all the lies he told ? Turns out he did a documentary on canned hunting several years ago and he brought them to the public's attention. It was only AFTER the documentary that they became popular. You couldn't make it up but Cook wasn't interested in saving animals anyway. I turned it off half way through, like I say, it was rough.

J Darcy 5,871
What people need to remember is; Lions are now kept as a 'crop', just like sheep, goats, cows, chickens. They're bred to be killed. It is NOT hunting at all, but the Lion is ridiculously easy to breed in captivity and they are being 'farmed' and killed in this way for money.Just like the farmer sends his cows to slaughter, or home kills a pig and sells the bacon. There's always two sides to every story....
