scottish lurcher 185
What are the tow weights of these vans ?would I be able to tow a small caravan lads ?
Giro 2,648
Google them bud. The 1.3 was ok, lost power on hills if you never got revs up. Don't know if I'd fancy towing a weight in one of them ..
Rowan 308
There is a renualt kangoo 4x4 van , never had one myself though , I believe they where made for the forestry commission mainly . If not a berlingo , the best van by far I've ever had and I've had some cr*p in the past .
scottish lurcher 185
Yeah quite like those belingos my self to be honest but was unsure of reliabilityof them
simononeill93 69
There's plenty of cheap Suzuki jimnys on preloved, well in your budget.
RossM 8,119
The partner is effectively a berlingo, economical as and can't complain so far....

dytkos 17,800
Since the moorland commoners banned following hounds cross country in 4x 4s I don't need an offroader really, apart from farm tracks etc so I'm going for a van when the Jimmy dies , prob won't be long with my driving lol need a side loading door and could get my MTB in as well. Hate French motors and hate diesels, am I a lost cause Cheers, D.
Blackdog92 2,047
What are the tow weights of these vans ?would I be able to tow a small caravan lads ? Its 750kg without a trailer license and anything after that depending on the vehicle once you get a license. But i would say you will be fine with a small caravan on the back so long as your van can pull it.
Blackdog92 2,047
Ive got the VW caddy 1.9 and its a good lal van great on fuel and can get a fair bit in the back i have space in the back for dogs and a small kitchen set up for when im away from home. The tax is the pain ive just taxed it and its £225 for the year a mate of mine has a audi and it only costs him £30
chicken george 38
Why not get a 4x4 estate car as much load space as the little vans mentioned ive had a volvo audi ant the skoda rambler all good motors and you can buy them sensible money
TOMO 26,199
Skoda,,do a van,,car thing,,,you know the ones with seats and windows in back,,but it's still a van type,,and it's 4x4,,, I think it's called a yeti,,,I might be wrong though...
treecreeper 1,136
Yea yeti is 4x4 quite good off-road. There's a few 4x4 estates about all depends how much off roading you need. Edited November 11, 2015 by treecreeper
scottish lurcher 185
Right I have been looking at vans but can't get anything with correct tow weight, so decide to buy 4x4 either landrover discovery td5 or another l200 . but heard bad things about disco any one owned one ?
