CushtyJook 1,097
Down at scrap yard today getting rid of some heavy iron scrap while the price is still higher than light keeping my mountain of light metal away for a few years I expect as light iron has hit a low of twenty pounds to the tonne brass last time I weighed in was around 2.40 per kilo now is at 1.95 and speaking to one of the bosses he reckons it will be very tough for the next ten years ateleast for scrap to recover I have two 20 foot containers filled to the doors with light iron and really kicking myself how I never had the time to Weigh it in a year ago Edited October 25, 2015 by CushtyJook

scottish lurcher 185
I believe Chinese flood the market with metal which drives price down , I remember a few years ago stainless steel being down to under 20 pence a kilo.
