martinhalli 735
all depends what your wanting to use them for, i have 2 here and if it was just bushing rabbits then terrier or spaniel or a cross of the 2 would be better suited to the job. if your wanting to flush fox, deer or hare then the beagle/russell might suit your needs better. But as someone as already said they can travel a good way when on line, literaly miles!! so make sure you have the right ground to work them on. 1 Quote Link to post
Benny684lovley 22
Yeah it's just mainly bushing for rabbits. And abit of ferreting. Just with the longnets thanks for the post mate. Made me think what I should look for about better. Some to give my lurcher a hand ? Quote Link to post
Guest foxpack
doing hedge bottoms and small banks etc,you want something to be in fast and hard,,fluster the rabbit out into path of lurcher n then move on ,,spaniel x ideal for this job, beagle x would be still hoovering up scent off the first rabbit ,, 3 Quote Link to post
