BGD 6,436
Can sometimes be because the dog is lacking something in its diet but on the other hand your dog could just be a dirty knacker Clear it up before it gets a chance to eat it, problem solved 2 Quote Link to post

flipbull 1,139
Can sometimes be because the dog is lacking something in its diet but on the other hand your dog could just be a dirty knacker Clear it up before it gets a chance to eat it, problem solved My dog eats nettles but gets plenty of greens in his diet, so don't know what he's missing. If I see horse sh*t I tell my dog to leave it and the cnut takes a quick nibble and gets out the way. If it was missing something in it's diet, then eating it's own sh*t is the last place it will find it............it's missing 2 Quote Link to post
BGD 6,436
It might not find what it's missing from it's diet in it's shite but that doesn't stop the compulsion to seek out the nutrients it's missing. More often than not it's just a dirty habit though 1 Quote Link to post

Used to think mine was missing something from his diet eating nettles, so dunno what nutrients are in them, that's not in kale, broccoli, spinach etc. Quote Link to post

Eating nettles is definitely a weird one though, can't feel too good Quote Link to post
