Cant do you for trespess, but they can do you for trespass in the pursuit of game, ie poaching, but they have to prove you were persuing game on said land, won't even go to court, don't worry about it

Was it in ormskirk if so same happened to me trespass in pursuit of game busy who caught me it was his shoot got me summons went to court pleaded guilty 75 fine in an out

Im in the US. So lots of laws are very diferent. But id bet they cant prove you were hunting..and recovering property is a strong reason for leagal tresspassing. Please let me know how this goes.. And im rooting for ya!

I understand the law of coursing applies, if the course starts on land you have permission and the kill is on land you don't have permission its fair game, if the course starts on land you don't have permission and the kill on land you have permission its theft.

If any common sense applies the keeper should be grateful you recovered a hawk from his/hers shoot, if it goes to court hopefully someone will have some sense11
