bob84 189
The worst for me has to be a young lad .he was at me for ages to bring him lamping. So I gave in one night told him to be at my house for 9 that night. He's an half hour late turned up gray tracksuit bottoms cream jacket and runners all fecking nike . So I spend another 20 min get him some sort of bottom jacket and a pair of boots. And it didn't get any better from then on. Banging gates fell about 10 foot into a drain walked into electric wire. Thought I'd never get back to the car to get him home. Funnily he's never about going again. ATB bob 5 Quote Link to post

desertbred 5,490
Its got to be me only been lamping twice in my life funnily enough with the same lad and about a year ago. First time he said stick with me we went into the darkness he walked right into a flock of ewes who started bleating two in the morning he then flashed his light across the farmhouse bedroom windows five minutes later torches every where and about 6 big burly game keepers and blue lights coming along the track had to walk back as my jeep was on the track got back turns out hed brought me on the Duke of Bridgewaters Estate he told me he had permission on the land up near Lancaster the police asked what we were doing I said walking the dog luckily only one with us, the police said you are lamping the other lad had hid the lamp he said to the police and gamekeepers how do you know we are not lovers it went down like a lead balloon especially with me. They let us go apparently lack of evidence. The same lad three weeks later out again on some land early morning plod all over us he had only brought me to some land next to a high security psychiatric unit again let off with a warning never again will me and a lamp come within hundred yards of each other. neil cooney 10,416
Took two lads one night who were brothers. One of them had wellies on the other wore a pair of shoes. They were behind me all night and at one stage when we came to a boggy part of a field I looked behind and the lad with the wellies was giving his brother a piggy back ride. And yes, he tripped. They both went forward into the bog. They were roaring and shouting at each other for the rest of the night. Never again. 3 Quote Link to post
j1985 1,984
Used to lamp with the most noisy, impatient, stupid and selfish twat lol thought he could walk across stubble on a still night to get a slip on something a mile off....it was painful, if a fox didn't come steaming in at the very first squeak he'd get the hump and sulk while muttering stuff under his breath hahaha I almost miss it as it was comical, oh and he's scared of the dark so never went out alone and got the hump with me if I caught stuff when he wasn't there. 2 Quote Link to post

j1985 1,984
Oh and another lad who once asked me while out what's my favourite mythical f***ing creature!! Then went on to tell me mermaids were real but the yeti is a ridiculous idea....I found myself arguing with him about how gorillas were only discovered a hundred odd years ago so really another type of great ape isn't all that stupid then realised wtf I was doing looool I get out with an old bloke local to me that has a plastic hip an he hops over fences like a teenager, but did once tell me to watch him as he's got a chest infection and the doctor had given him steroids so he might get roid rage....I tried telling him it was a different type that could even give you a rage but it made him angry haha I've lamped with some right characters 6 Quote Link to post
