ADAM C 193
What would you suggest are the best flasks to take out with you hunting,I've had all sorts metal ones (thermos) and don't seem to stay hot....once opened very luke warm...not good when out in the cold and wanting a hot drink. bullmastiff 615
Stanley flasks seem to be the best but with all flasks, once you start opening them and the cold air gets in, then they all soon start cooling down. When I first got the Stanley I filled it with boiling water and left it outside all night and all day, the water was still really hot in the morning but when I was out ferreting and kept pouring small cups of coffee it was only lukewarm 10 hours later.
tsteve9999 456
Don't bother with the six quid ones from the bargain centres, I had one that didn't keep tea warm for more than a couple of hours. Buy a decent quality stainless one and it will last years.
IanB 0
I had a large thermos flask, I think it was 1.5ltr after a couple of year it didn't maintain the heat for some reason so I bought a smaller 1 ltr thermos and it keeps things piping hot now.
