dennned 172
I TOOK MY MATES SON OUT LAMPING A FORTNIGHT AGO ,HE HAD PESTERED ME FOR WEEKS TO TAKE HIM OUT, SO OUT WE VENTURED ON HIS FIRST LAMPING EXPEDITION,HE HAS ALREADY GOT FERRETS SO HE KNOWS THAT WE MIGHT END UP CATCHING SOME SORT OF GAME, IT WAS A WINDY NIGHT AND THERE WAS PLENTY OF WILD LIFE ON THE GO WE SAW RABBITS, HARES , FOXES,DEER , AND PLENTY OF BADGERS ,HERE'S MY DILEMA , HOW CAN YOU TELL AN 11 YEAR OLD CHILD THAT YOU CANT CHASE FOX,DEER, AND BADGERS, ONLY RABBITS, ANYWAY HAVING TOLD HIM ALL ABOUT THE HUNTING BAN, WE CONTINUED WITH OUR QUEST FOR SOME RABBITS,CAUGHT 4 ,TOOK HIM HOME ABOUT 2.30am ON A SATURDAY MORNING, AND HE HASN';T STOPPED PHONING TO GO OUT AGAIN,WHAT DO I DO. CONTINUE WITH HIS HUNTING EDUCATION OR HOPE IT'S JUST PHASE HE'S GOING THROUGH Quote Link to post

rabbit slayer 22
I have a younger brother he's only 6. There's a big age gap between me and him, im 21. I cant wait to take him out He's been nagging me to take him ferreting but i know he'll get bored after a short time so ill take him next year maybe. Im realy looking forward for the day he rings me and say's c'mon bro lets go out with the dogs. Dont forget guys the future of our sport will most certanly die out if there is no one to take over from us, its nice to see youngers getting involved with country sports and the countryside itself. Rather see a young boy OR girl out hunting with or with out permission than shooting up with a needle on the streets or abusing some old pensioner. Quote Link to post
