Friend of mine once had a plumber what went to ground :-)

This is making me feel so much better about the height of my terrier pup.....haha...

ive had a couple of whippet crosses that ive had to dig out. ive never had a cooker to ground but i had a washing machine in a dump.

Know of a small type collie that was dug to plenty,Kevin Em would probably remember the bitch, also my diging mate had a wheatenxgh that had to be tied up at a dig or she would go to ground and also had to be dug to on several occasions when she would hunt 1 up and run it to ground.

There is a man on here that once dug to his terrier baying at a young lamb

nothing to do with a whippet but still unusual

once dug my old lurcher dog out of a stone pile up with his foe

would be me that dug the lamb also dug to a black dog attached to the business end and a Bedlington/grey on the other.

I'd say the one bg had must of knew his terriers well and the game, probably couldn't get it out when it knew the was some thing going on. I think whippets are a bit of a one off breed where you can get good ones, like throw backs. The have a lot of history goingbback along way, and not just hound in em
