low plains drifter 10,774
I've given my lurchers the carcasses from roasted chickens for over 20 years, and know an old boy who says he always fed his racing dogs on cooked meat and bones, aswell as a few other lads who used to have a calor gas powered boiler full of whole chicken,rabbit/hare carcasses etc boiling away in an old brickshed The only problem that i've ever seen is constipation caused by overfeeding of bones both raw aswell as cooked, p.s. always remove that needle like bone from chicken legs 1 Quote Link to post

wuyang 513
If we have a cooked chicken I blitz the bones in a vitamix then run the liquid through a sieve...leaves very few little grainy bones in the sieve.....I use it like a gravy....dogs love it. 1 Quote Link to post
