It's not something I've ever had any trouble with but I'd imagine it's different in every case. An experienced greyhound vet should be able to tell you and will probably advise rest then lead walking for a while. Most serious lamnesses take at least 6 weeks to get back to normal but they can be difficult to diagnose and a running dog vet is a much better bet than a normal "pet" vet. Quote Link to post
