Just moved that pure on didn't you and now you've bought another saluki type, what's changed in last couple of weeks?... Nothing worse than seeing what could of been tidy dogs in the right hands and where there given a chance passed about. Hope this one gets a chance

yes it will get a chance spanna i no the dog i had it in my kennel for a month or so a few month ago for a favor,and ran the dog,the dog wasent even for sale its been sat doing nothing so i asked to buy it,why people keep trying to make out im a peddler i don't no i brought the saluki for 300 sold it for 200 because i did not like it simple as that

 

thats it if a dog doesnt suit ye, you get rid whats the point of having a dog ya dont fancy,

 

again iv ran the dog before

 

no not that dog in particular ,any dog ime saying if you dont like a dog even if you rear it you get rid..its the hunting game.

yes i understand what your saying if i would of reared it i probably wouldn't of been able to let it go,but i had to make a decision do i hold onto it then be stuck with something i dont want because iv bonded with it or do i sell it maybe i made the wrong decision lads i no that but its been done now

but yes im in the game to work dogs not keep pets yh i don't agree with buying and selling dogs all the time but you cant get everything right in life

good point bud , not sure realy the dog was sat doing nothing i no it can run so thought id take it on i 100% no the dogs has not had it bollocks ran off so thats good,and i already have a young pup 8 month old

good point bud , not sure realy the dog was sat doing nothing i no it can run so thought id take it on i 100% no the dogs has not had it bollocks ran off so thats good,and i already have a young pup 8 month old

Surely 'the hunting game' is all about picking a pup you like, then putting all your time and effort into that pup, building a bond so that the dog will do anything, even give its life if necessary to work for you.

Granted some dogs just won't make the grade and that's a fact, but this fella has had more dogs in 6 months than I've had in my adult life, that cannot be coincidence! I don't see what joy is to be had from chopping and changing dogs after a matter of weeks because you don't like them?

yh iv 3 dogs whats wrong with getting some stock in no point keeping 1 dog it gets badly injured or dies then im left with f**k all or 1 of the pups turns out a bag of shite yh i haven't been in the game long but iv been around dogs all my life i just haven't took much interest untill i decided i need to change my life from going out drinking all the time and silly shit like that i dont come on here to get lectures of some know it all like you

I know you don't want advice, but If I were you I would take a long hard look in the mirror and think of the reasons why you wanna keep working dogs. Because in my opinion, everything you've just wrote above confirms what my opinions on young morons keeping lurchers and it certainly does no good for the breed or hunting! Get back to your drinking and partying and leave the dogs alone.
