johnny boy68 11,726
I use a z gemma star s2, there are people selling them on fleabay that are plug and play but they're upwards of £79, not sure on these though as I bought mine and downloaded a program of a website to get mine running on sly. I'm not a tech geek by any means but I had my box up and running in an hour.

stealthy1 3,964
I only have Freeview, get other stuff for free off the back of my broadband package, Talk Talk. But to be fair, I don't watch soaps, I only watch wildlife, gardening, informative type of programs. And the news.

Gaz_1989 9,539
been with sky for 5 years on full package so they have had around £6k off me in this time. had some issues last week, I have never troubled them before, and they wouldnt waiver the visit charge for the engineer. threw a wobbly and canceled my tv package saving around 80quid a month. ......rang a friend, sorted me a box 45quid for 2 years tele. why have I been paying sky so much for so long?!?!?! just naive I guess. well now I have seen the light and will be slightly richer for it. I would recomend to anyone on sky! What box you using mate? I'm paying sky £115 a month now all in and seriously considering f***ing it off. feck me gaz thats a lot of money. i pay £33 a month and dont have movies or sports for that. Just checked and it was £126 this month. Lol. That's for everything, movies, sports, kids packages, box nation etc. Plus there is probably a PPV fight in with that £126. But definitely too much. I am considering one of these boxes after reading a few of the posts on this thread. It would just piss the missus off if it kept freezing up or wasn't working one night. I work nights and she watches a LOT of TV. It's her only hobby, lol.

dare 1,103
Do people watch less tv now days even though theres more channels to watch? Most of its shit and i guess the internet changed things. No longer have to watch what is on the tele watch exactly what you want when you want. Tv is so bad that these days id actually rather read a good book...getting more n more like my old man lol worrying thought.
