Before i joined THL mate, had it one day and my gunsmith mate, Steve allowed me to return it at no charge and i bought the HW 100 ks from him.

Both were in .22 cal  and neither achieved what i was looking for.

Had i bought them in .177 cal then yes they would easily have achieved my expectations :good: .

atb.

Its not the rifle its you

its not your fault you cant shoot 22 the best cal out there

:tongue2: :tongue2: :tongue2:

Yes you may well be right Mac but either way the HW 100 kt .177 "Shits" over all other rifles i have ever owned, be it accuracy or the flawless magazine the 100`s have both in abundance.

There is no mistaking though, .177 is defo my preferred calibre these days, wether i use springer (T Rex 200 hc mk3) or my Lethal HW 100 kt .

Please try your new Raider in .177 before you commit your money Mac, the rifle obviously suits you well, so might the "fast and furious .177"

Only nudging you in the right direction mate, :whistling:

P.S. :feck:

You hit the nail on the head Mark what is you prefer,d cal may not be mine its what suits you best

you pick a target and hit it with the 177 , then ill hit it with the 22 cal as well shot for shot it all comes down to what cal suits you better but switch it and i would probably miss (Quiet David dont mention the bolt heads at the range) and like wise .

I am a 22 man its my prefer,d cal its what im used to .

Mind iv just had a few shots of logans 177 pro sport and put pellet on pellet with it so you never know but the proof is in the hunting so we will have to see

As much as I am deffo going to have a HW100KT in .177, I do think the Brocock Compatto in .22 will make a cracking LITTLE ratter.

Phil

So's this and about 800 quid cheaper. Think you might be over doing it if your bashing rats mate.

Rez, I was not going to buy an HW100 just for rats.

I take great pride in my guns and have over the years bought quality rather than quantity but my interest in a ratting gun was so that I could have that gun set up with NV and not be too concerned about a few knocks and scratches around farm buildings but by the same token it must be able to perform.

I don't want to spend nearly a grand on a laminated stock HW100 only to get it knocked about. I will spend that on a gun for hunting and general target work but it won't be my ratter. Perhaps this is just the ravings of an old tart, well not that bloody old, 63, although I feel 90 when I get out of bed but still 30 in my head if you know what I mean.
