I'll tell you he has been there some time but not been in whip square and thankfully not in chop square in Jeddah. That is not to be recommended. Thing is that we all enjoy a drink and the Americans can get away with it quite I personally went to a Corps of Engineers do and was served Kronenberg and Gin and tonics. To get caught drinking or selling a bottle of wine is quite frankly a joke. When you go to the Supermarmet, everything you need to make wine or beer is side by side as any expat will tell you. This can go on and on as when you are taking a leave the Saudis change from traditional Thobe and Gutra to business suits and get rat arsed on the flight.
