Bosun11 537
It should be racy enough but i wonder, if it is a F1 cross, would the different running styles compliment each other, or bring out the worst in both..? Quote Link to post
jasrae 12
Yes thinking that my self think down to type of workers prey drive etc Quote Link to post
Omanyra 2,518
Another quite pointless cross 2 Quote Link to post
Silversnake 1,099
I would definitely want some grey on both sides, but I love both those breeds Quote Link to post
Chid 6,639
Seriously without the greyhound blood both them are shit Why? Quote Link to post
Red Center 165
I can't imagine it being useful on any legal quarry over there. Except for maybe foxes but even then I can't imagine it being better than a bull x grey or something like that. Just seems a pointless cross for anything other than making a bit of coin. jasrae 12
Seen some fine deerhounds working also saluki working wonder why this x not work as good as others Quote Link to post
stevemac 444
You would definitely have some long range big game dogs. salukis can be a bit soft with game that bites back and deerhounds take a hell of a long time to mature, but raised right can be as tough as any sight hound. saluki x greyhound X Deerhound would be worth a go for Aussie conditions. Dame92 387
Ive got a saluki grey x deer grey. She's very fast. Good coat, good feet, lacks Wind. But she kills rhdf. But she's nearly 6 now. Old injuries catching up Quote Link to post
