Don't think they'd be too good at rabbit bashing .. I think a good deerhound grey hound has a lot to offer as an Alround lurcher but I think whit it been half airdale and 1/4 deerhound I think it would have a slow start of speed

They could make good hill keepers dogs. But an interesting start for a breeding project in the future.

If the dam was a good solid worker I think. Pure grey would bin better choice to line her but the lad could need for his own reasons and maybe needed s big rough costed dog with not too much speed needed

If it had been mine i would of add greyhound a cross the Airedale and left the deerhound out of cross .

Not a dig at all. It's just a general observation that could be levelled at many of us when we get an idea in our heads
