ratbuster 808
First try on pickling my first crop of jalapeno peppers. Will put them in a brine of vinegar, sugar, salt and water, adding a crushed garlic clove and a bay leaf. Now my question to you more knowledgeable gentlemen, should I put the peppers in whole or slice them up ? and what else should I add to the brine....
BGD 6,436
Looks a good crop you got there, you can pickle them whole or sliced it's personal preference really but they'll retain more of their heat if you leave them whole Brine sounds good I'd chuck a handful of peppercorns in there too though.
