optimus 447
Just trying to get everything ready for Willows pups before I go away to 'work' in Spain for a week on the Ebru. Typical timing as far as the work is concerned as I get back the day before she is due to whelp but I have great back up with friends close by and a really good vet, that and my wife was a midwifery assistant so hopefully should they come early all bases are covered. DSC_7971.JPG DSC_7974.JPG DSC_7975.JPG I think I have everything covered as far as the kennel is concerned, whelping box is complete though I am undecided on whether to use blankets/towels or shredded paper for the bed, I have meshed all the bars as I have seen pups get there heads stuck through the bars before and one of them was dead, which was unpleasant for the owner showing me... I have also raised the sides of the dogs raised bed so that as the pups get bigger and Willow wants to get away from them she can... Stocking up the freezers with good grub all the time as the dogs seem to on quite good form at moment, Willow is due on the 26th and is getting pretty big but it hasn't stopped her catching a few bunny's here and there... Just interested if anybody can see if I have missed anything out or has some sensible suggestions as to how I can make things better. That is as good a setup as I have probably seem for a bitch. Best of luck with them ? Edited October 31, 2015 by optimus Quote Link to post

Snifferboy 659
Finding it astonishing how quickly the pups are growing so far, they are looking really well. They are back indoors now as I had someone sniffing around the house the other day. My wife bless her freaked! Escorted him off the property and saw him drive off in a white van, he said he was starting up business in the area selling food, didn't knock on anyone else's door and was dressed in realtree... Could be innocent and I hope it was. Willow is doing well, but is glad to go for short walks over the field to get moving... 2 Quote Link to post
