Red Center 165
I was born too late and missed the days of hunting kangaroos with sighthounds. Dad used to tell me heaps of stories about jumping on a horse with his brothers and taking two or three big rough coated staghounds and getting a roo after school for dinner. They also used to hunt foxes with his colliexdeerhound and sell the skins during the school holidays for pocket money. My grandfather also made a living trapping and shooting for furs and once every few months he'd take his wagon loaded up with furs pulled by a horse 160km to sell them. It would take him 2 weeks to make the round trip 6 Quote Link to post
