Further Update On New Lurcher Association

I have conversed with Alan, he states

 

' If The steering group, have formed as a club they are more then welcome to join the AWL, or as individuals, as is the right of any others.'

I take that as you declining the offer to meet and discuss how we can move things forward?

One thing ive found is both groups seem quite self loving and rather ignorant to quite open questions and unless they feel it benefits them this very minute they dont care.

As we ( the ALC) have a mixed bag of ages on board, with forward thinking the the ball is forever rolling,

Sandymere do you understand the response ?was it relevant to the question you asked, as everyone now appears to have ignored any semblance of protocol are we now discussing everything on the open forum?if so it must apply to all. subjects and discussions. I always thought committees and groups were selected or elected to make decisions on behalf of a group but it seems to be a new way to just post and discuss.then criticise for washing dirty linen in public or bringing the lurcher group into disrepute really must be something I have missed.

this followed a short discourse throughout which i was courteous and sought an end to the self-harm of an open battle between, what I hoped, were two groups set up with a similar purpose, the latter contains some personal information about my family hence i have not posted this but would be happy to do so with the personal stuff removed so there are no more accusations of secrecy.

South hams I have and will continue to happily answer any questions as far as Im able, and if my memory serves me correctly I have offered you to contact me via facebook to that end in the past if you felt that a better method.

There was a much longer and detailed thread posted originally when Lagbi first came from an idea mooted by Giro Then Dewclaw69 got on board plus lots of others. ALC then rose like a phoenix and Lagbi was formed so it moved on to a steering group for Lagbi a meeting was arranged with C/A then ALC revealed a new name AWLL and rolled out its committee or at least blew off the cobwebs, So it was much further on than this Topic and this is a product of ping and pong for several weeks. so things were in motion to move up a step but once again intransigence has scuppered progress

same old, same old thats probably why the ALC ended up as a one man band for the last couple of decades, we need change not more of the same, the i am the club and you will join or we will not talk to you is petty old school club crap, take a step back, look at your dogs, think what the future hold and ffs all work as one to secure their future, if you can not contemplate change then perhaps its time to stand aside and let some new blood take hold of the stick and give it a go.

What you mean by personal stuff? As in personal insults and the like? Not wanting any details but if this getting into the realms of personal gripes/dislikes etc then I'd not be comfortable joining either club tbh.
