Pick Your Brains

Have to jump start van if not driven every hour,, turn ignition off and the hands on the clock go really fast spinning around like mad yokes think the hands spinning like mad are draining the battery,, why is the clock going really fast when turn van off,,,when van is started the clock ticks normal speed,,,,,any suggesting would be great help,,,,,,,,,,out of work at the moment so if I can fix cheap .......

disconnect your alternator and see if the clock behaves

Disconnected the alternator still spinning like mad,,,,,,tried battery from wifes car still the same,,,,,,,looked at fuse book and the clock fuse also does interior lights and indicators,,,so where im from is not blessed with good mechanics there useless,,,,so thought I would see what could find here.............
