Its the same stuff, just chopped up, so it should be easier for the smaller birds to deal with as Ive seen some maize that would fill a banty after 3 kernels. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

stevo79 569 Posted October 5, 2015 Report Share Posted October 5, 2015 To be fair you don't want to feed to much maize. I get a lot of people come to ours and say we feed mixed corn. It's wrong , If you feed too much maize it will make your birds fat, just give them whole wheat it's just a scratch feed before they roost up at night, maybe a little maize when it's cold but not to much. I know it's a different kettle of fish for the game birds, but your average bantam does not need a high fat diet. There's plenty of info if you look online about it.
