J Darcy 5,871
Lads, get the clu-lite rechargeable. £45. It's superb. It is just so light you wouldn't beleive. A true bright, white beam and a good spot,. What's £45, take a gamble, you won't be disappointed. Quote Link to post
J Darcy 5,871
At £45 they are worth getting even as the lamp you just use to spot things from the motor. You get a car charger, mains charger and a red filter. I really don't know how they do it for the money.... 1 Quote Link to post
low plains drifter 10,942
Has'nt got the reach of a striker, but i'd say it's a better option than a 50 watt lazerlite 1 Quote Link to post
J Darcy 5,871
Well, I had it out with the striker last night, lined them both up and there was no difference. The strikers beam looked yellow and the clu-lite looked white. Obviously there is a need for further testing, but I have to say I'm impressed! Quote Link to post

I was out this morning and this lamp can get across a fair sized field, maybe i was overestimating the striker, been a while since i used one, and yes the plr 500 has a very clear white beam Quote Link to post
J Darcy 5,871
I'm starting to think about buying one now,m does corded one come without battery? How long you got it for Darcy? Corded comes with a micro battery. i have not used it extensively enough yet to see what the power drain/reserve is. I got both corded and rechargable to try this season, so far I'm impressed.
