Giro 2,648
It's not a case of not needing the dog.. For whatever reason it was untrained .. If you let it go to a pet home fair enough.. If it went on the free adds to some unexspecting buyer,it's shit crack to the new buyer and the poor dog.. They should not be passed about like back issues of the CMW. 1 Quote Link to post

Guy on net but that story I have nothing to feel bad about so to be honest lad you can say anything you want 1 Quote Link to post

Giro 2,648
No mate you don't have to explain but it does sound better than "just punting it on" . This not directed at you but to many dog are not given a fair crack, entered at the wrong time and place and not shown enough human intraction. Fair play you rescued the dog.. That's more than I would of done.. There is far to many to rescue. I just do the best by any that enter my kennels.. Quote Link to post

Phil Lloyd 10,738
If like me,.you have had a life with lurchers,...you are sure to have come across a few, that were 'not fit for purpose'.... Some animals just don't have IT.. What you do with such animals,.. is a matter for your own conscience... Truth is, no dog ever goes out of its way to be a c**t,...(it is illogical to believe this to be so),...SO,...a good dog man will always give a dog a fair break.. If ya ain't getting on,...then it is best to part company, and go your seperate ways,.. at the earliest opportunity... Some things just ain't meant to be.... Bosun11 537
Very well put Phil. Mine was a American Bulldog x Greyhound, one of them 'sports performance' things. What a total misnomena to give such a pile of shite 'sports performance'! The only sport this big girls blouse could have performed would have been ballet an that would be pushing it...! Red Center 165
Pure bred saluki bitch. God she was a bloody headache, so hot and cold. If she was just plain useless it would have been so much easier to get rid of her but 1 out 5 nights she'd have an absolute belter and outclass my other dogs and then the other 4 she'd chase them at a trot! In the end I got her spayed and gave her to a good friend of mine who always asked me about her as a pet Quote Link to post
