Dont know about best dig but I find it very satisying when a youngster has its first real tester and does well whether its my own dog or a mates thats always a relief that you have put a good bit of time and effort in and everything is clicking into place ....as for best terrier Ive had a few I would class as very decent....probably easier for me to name the ones that werent worth feeding ive had a couple of them

Thats some statement coming from you mate ,was this another pissed up ramble or genuine question .Either way Dilly dog answered it .Ive never been so narrow minded as to think my own breeding was the best nor did i ever think it would last this long so by starting another line ,ive all bases covered .Can you remember any digs Pabs or is it all just a blur .

I don't know about the best but one of the most consistent was my digging partners that died last years bitch. Bred by a man of here she was an we had some good days sport with her ,she also developed the knack of finishing the job without paying the price. She also had a brain on her and knew when to be sensible and have a healthy respect .

One of the best digs was to her , not because of the depth of the dig but because of the account her foe gave . A three holer not overly deep but awkward under a prickle hedge,round and around for a while until she got it bottled up . Dug down having the craic confident in the bitch breaks threw expecting like the other outings we had for the job to be done , for the bitch to be on a serious customer . I put my hand in to lift it out and as I grabbed the fox , it was a vixen , I felt a old broken snare around its neck . This one was a born survivor and she managed to slip my grasp and run of ? after I had removed the old snare . My mates bitch was wobbling and all over the shop for a while but soon was good after a bit of tlc. Good bitch done what she had to do good fox done what it had to do lol. Will stay with me for a while that one for a few reasons .

Yes my head was banging last night, i had five budweisers, it was way too much and i felt fu, cked. I was out just now though, second place, i hunted a fox or foxes and it went to ground in a old set i know, Young black un must of bolted it, she was sounded it. Anyway i tried a right game red lad after just in case it blag Harding. Took that one about an hour to check through, we're me black was on for about 20 minute , same as a small Nutl. Best dig, or dog, how could i say, when the been so many ha, i get back to youwwhen iam out pub next week,

As i said, the dog was barking, at, around the same place, like an old russel snappy bark. I just listening, and not putting,the shovelor bar in , no disturbance and the dog should stay if any good. When the dog showed, and back in and over the other side, bolt holes, surrounding the place. I gathered it got out the other side of the top of the burrow. So in case it was Blag Harding, i tried another young hardy lad or I'd never know, dog isn' . Massive but took lot of time, just to get about 20 foot to that spot. After that he travelled the set, same area as other, so what's your view, it's all experience to us,
