Caught a couple mate but I bet u will get mixi now where ever u saw it, happend to me twice I saw a black one and a sandy coloured one next thing it was like a rabbit grave yard, I am sure the ministry had something to do with it

I no a place that has loads but very heathery and covered in fern so hard to catch them will try get some pictures next time iam up that way

I think it's inbreeding but im not sure. There was a little field near me when I was a kid sorouned by factories that was full of them nine out of ten were black

heard a story years ago about keepers putting them down with the wild ones to maybe give some idea as to whether the land was being poached not quite sure how that works though lol

quite a few spots near me that have black rabbits

Loads near me its when folk go camping take the pet rabbit along let it go when kids are asleep easy way to get rid of them

I've read about them and it's a dilution in the coat if this one was a pet he was a fast one

Pet rabbits released into the wild. No more no less. And yes they integrate and breed just fine

I've heard loads of times that keepers were meant to have put them down but I don't believe it myself, black rabbits (melanistic) crop up naturally.
