smithie 2,444
Right, I think I have worked out what he means? I think he is counting rows as meshes 27 rows = 13.5 meshes deep and 606 is 303 meshes long. If I am right he has 17.5 yards of net rigged by halves or (100% bag as it is erroneously called) rigged 85 meshes into every 5 yards. When will people realise that there are two rows in a single mesh. The same with all the 100% and 50% bag rubbish there is no such thing. TC why is there no such thing as 100% bag? my nets is twice as long as the lines they are on. I make that 100% bag Quote Link to post

Tiercel 6,986
No it's 27 messes high about 60 inches and 606 messes long so........ long Let me ask you a question. When you knit the first row on a purse net ring what do you have? To make it easier for you I will make it multiple choice. A row or a mesh? TC Quote Link to post
smithie 2,444
I find 100% plenty but sometimes I will move the bagging about and put more were the runs are visable if I know the field has the numbers in. not often I do that. Edited October 1, 2015 by smithie 2 Quote Link to post
