p3rk87 10 Posted September 28, 2015 Report Share Posted September 28, 2015 (edited) Hi all just purchased my gos bout 3 weeks ago very pleased with him he's coming on very well but recently bumped his wing I wouldn't say he broken it as he is stretching his wings and moving them quite nicely but his left shoulder has dropped a little bit bout 1/4 -1/2 inch if that's make any sense I'm getting him booked in to the vets for the weekend but what I'm Trying to say as any one come across this before and is there any thing I can try to help him thanks Edited September 28, 2015 by p3rk87 Quote Link to post
david901 165 Posted September 29, 2015 Report Share Posted September 29, 2015 A good Avian vet is required to look at it. It may need to be X-rayed to check it. Forget taking it to a dog and cat vet as they generally know SFA about birds. It is possible the bird has just bruised itself, but unfortunately they have small thin bones easily damaged.. If it was mine, I would rest him up until the vet has a chance to look at him. How did he bump his wing, was he flying at the time? Good luck with him Quote Link to post
