Geoff.C 0
You are right Deker, the new Webley's are turkish made,I had a magazine with an article about them. It told you who it was,but I can't find it right now. Pretty sure it is NOT Yildiz though. It is a good range of guns,up to about £2500 for the best. My choice would be a 910 sporter, about £700 and with a lifetime guarantee. Shouldn't think you could go far wrong with any of them really. Quote Link to post
Guest Lord B
Yes that are Turkish. Pretty sure its Hatsan that make them, they also make the Escort range of SA; or a firm associated with them. I was invited to the range launch at a clay ground in Shrops, it was the worst trade event I've been to, nobody there andthe guns were 110% CR*P. Esp when compaired to similar priced guns from Lincoln, Conquest, Escort, Yilditz etc. I know towards the end of last year AGS who own (and I think now have changed their name) the Webley brand (don't mistake them with W&S of old) had a big volume problem. Not that they couldn't fullfill orders and keep up demand, quite quite the oposite!! That said, the guns I had a play with at this years Midland looked a vast improvement from those at the open day. It will be worth seeing how their performance compares as time goes; I do however fear they may be slightly overpriced and that their market share would increase dispraportionatly in the range was 10-15% cheaper.
