Would I have another 1st cross ?? I don't know I think a 3-4 grey x 1/4 deer would be the best option but I do love them compared to this mental coursing bitch I have lol Ive got a little 26" 3/4 Grey 1/4 Deerhound, she's just gone 3 and doing well, very loyal, keen and intelligent. I've been toying with the idea of getting a first cross or 3/4 deerhound pup in next year and heard of a few possible matings that could be happening. I'd hoped to breed off my bitch in a couple of years once she'd proved herself in the field a bit more but unfortunately she still hasn't come into season at all yet so we're thinking she may be baron. jigsaw 11,899
theres a pure bitch after been covered by a pure dog over here,I saw the sire a few times, owned by shanehound, hes my mate, the sire has done all quarry, hes done some better than others but still does it to an ok standard. The dam to be i havent seen but i have been out with her parents,Shane told me this will be the best pure litter in a long time,no doubt there will be a nice price tag to em also i expect.Theres not enough lads willing to keep the scruffy mutts over the lurcher types about,I have a 1st x for the very first time in a long time so I hope I do her justice this winter, Quote Link to post

lurchers 2,916
The hardest thing is trusting people if you gave them at a drop down price.if they bred them and you wanted your favour returned would they return it or will the price be high.ive seen it happen and had it done to me,now I'm once bitten twice shy.thats why I would save up and pay 800-850 for one then nobody can say other.at the end of the day the way I look at it if that's what you want you will try and save up for it no matter what. lurchers 2,916
The lurcher game is fecked now because of dickheads passing dogs about and lads killing for killing sake and taking advantage of decent lads who have showed them the ropes and took them on permission just for them to take there mates on by poaching it and dogging it to death.i would rather knock it on the head now that take new people out 3 Quote Link to post
