DogFox123 1,379
It's looking like Floyd Mayweather will eventually be exposed as a blatant drug cheat in the manner of Lance Armstrong. It's been exposed that Mayweather was using an IV for the Pacquiao fight which is illegal and can only be used for medical emergencies. I think it's clear to see that drug tests can be passed quite easily, facts are more than likely all the top athletes are on PED's. IMO it's time to give up the ghost and allow PED's, the athletes fully understand and accept the risks, why spend all the money on drug testing when they can be passed with ease. Let them take what they want when they want I say.

Born Hunter 17,798
No, it sets a dangerous precedence for kids. No matter what there will be cheats. Bribery is rife in some aspects of sport, does that mean we should allow that too? Surely part of the character built from sport is the moral substance to play fair as well as the mental and emotional toughness to succeed. Begin giving in to the weaknesses of men and it looses something of it's purity, sport is about strength, not weakness. I actually think the opposite is true, for young upcoming athletes getting the real deal from a doctor is a hell of a lot safer than getting it from backyard chemists off the net. God knows what chemicals they put into so called steroids these days. The moral stance is all good and well but it counts for nothing when you're getting your ass kicked by someone on drugs, I doubt athletes are content knowing they are an also ran whilst being fully clean. I understand what you're saying but let's be honest here most of the top athletes in the world are on PED's, time to get our heads out of the sand and embrace it. It's the same in the bodybuilding world, the supplement industry would take a big hit that's for sure I guess.
