northern lad 2,292
Enjoyed that Vin Whats the reason for holding the hob back till Christmas? ATB Dave I'm going to go steady with him and let him mature mentally a little more before I get him in deep with the big bucks.. I know he has the tools and the strength but he's still a big daft baby...A few heavy sessions and good kickings can soon create a Jacker...lol. If I didn't already have a few good working hobs I would use him and go steady on him..But fortunately at the moment I have some good grafters from the last few seasons. Misunderstood you Vin,thought you meant you weren't taking him out at all till x mas 1 Quote Link to post
wee ben 25
I've got a hob from this year and was waiting till boxing day to try him out.I lost both my hobs this summer so I thought I would work the Jill's and let him toughen up for the backend of the season. I know it means more digging but I know the hobs don't get kicked off!I hate digging to a jill and she pops up 2ft into a 3ft dig! Still better than a 6ft layup though! Quote Link to post
