Hi i have a four year old westie and shes the best hunting terrier i have ever seen working!!!! ive never heard of 1 doing this since fecking Col. malcolm himself. she marks,digs and leads all of my friends dogs around. i have never trained her and have asked every hunter i have spoken to why but all are speechless. anyone one have any ideas whit whats up. stringer

Does anyone else use a similar scttoish type terrier to hunt(scotty,cairn,skye,west hland) to hunt above\below ground? please reply guys

she is. have had to dig her out a couple of times. but she has dug out rabbit burrows and bolted fox before. why do you ask

my mate had a westie that was his daughters pet that just went on its own accord as it got out of the kennel oneday and went straight to ground

Wifes had em for years, theyre one of the best little huntin terriers around their scenting ability is next to none, keen as mustard but they do need a good shear from time to time. Good huntin with yours.
