Bosun11 537
They make these in larger sizes for eastern europeans... Jokes aside, this type of cage is very old hat nowadays to most but some still like to see tweetys in such a set up. For a bit of novelty value, i like em. Feck knows what your gonna do with em Gnash but it does go to show that genuine people are usually met with genuine people, of all cultures.... PS... I'd keep em, or at least one you like best. If nothing else, just for the work that went into em and the thanks the're for, or maybe pass em on with the same sentiment....

fireman 11,043
I'd turn them into bird feeders , where only the small birds can access the feed , look nice in the garden & a nice gesture off the lads . That's what i'd do with them ,cut every other bar out or so and hang a big feeder insdie and it'll keep the starlings and squirrels off of them that's for sure .Might even help stop the spar with it's attack's on the bird cafe to.....

*The*Field*Marshall* 674
I've seen cages like that in Tunisia, Libya too. . Don't know what the birds were, finch size. Nice feature, wouldn't like to think of them in there for too long though. . I trapped a Siskin once, nice looking birds, I was 10 maybe. . Thought I would impress my old man - he got back and said "how would you like to be trapped in a cage boy" he was glad to get away!

neil82 1,087
your genuine travellers are not bad, its the f***ing p***y wannabe`s who cause the problems, treat the travellers right with a bit of respect and they`ll treat you the same, trouble is you can`t tell the difference between them and the pisstakers until you take the time to try and get along with them, and by the time you find out who`s who, you dogs gone, your car`s been weighed in and your daughter`s pregnant!! forest of dean redneck 11,823
What about ferns or bit of ivy or candles ,that's what the interior decor arty types do with them, personally I reckon their worth a bit, seen similar in reclamation yards etc I had travellers knock at old house for bit of scrap.fellas about my age, talk to them like their a human being or like you would want to be talked to and their fine, never had bother with me dogs etc I was out once an young pair of lads wanted something out garden ,wife told them no,and they started getting funny so she pushed door open wider and shouted for the rotty ,they soon went through front gate and nicely shut it behind them. I went to school with a Romany lad ,never had any problems with him,he always stopped an spoke, the other family he went around with always were civil towards me, Lads just gone Inside this year . For slapping someone around .
